Cough and cold is a problem with every changing season. Cough can be caused by a bacterial or viral infection, allergies, sinus or cold. But in our country, people do not go to doctors for every problem. Many such home remedies are hidden in our kitchen, which causes minor diseases like cough and cold.
1. Honey, Lemon and Cardamom Mixture
- Add a pinch of cardamom and a few drops of lemon juice to half a teaspoon of honey. Drink this syrup 2 times a day. You will get a lot of relief from cough and cold.

2. Turmeric Milk

3. Gargle With Luke Saltwater
Gargling with a pinch of salt in warm water provides great relief during cough and cold. It provides relief to the throat and also provides relief from cough. This is also a very old recipe.
4. Honey and Brandy
Brandy is already known for body warming. Mix honey into this will greatly affect the cold.
5. Spice Tea
Drink tea by adding ginger, basil, pepper to your tea. Consumption of these three elements gives great relief in cough and cold.
Amla is rich in Vitamin C which improves blood circulation and also contains anti-oxidants which increases your immunity.
7. Ginger & Basil
Mix basil in ginger juice and consume it. You can add honey also.
Boil the flaxseeds until they become thick and add lemon juice and honey to it and consume it. Cold and cough will provide relief.
9. Ginger & Salt
Chop ginger into small pieces and add salt to it. Eat it Its juice will open your throat and salt will kill germs.
Fry garlic in ghee and eat it hot. It can be bad in taste but is excellent for health.
11. Wheat Bran
You can also use wheat bran to treat colds and coughs. Boil 10 grams wheat bran, five cloves, and some salt and mix it in water and make a decoction. Drinking a cup of this decoction will give you instant relief. However, the common cold is mild, with symptoms lasting for a week or less. You will get relief from discomfort by using wheat bran.
12. Black Pepper
If there is also mucus with cough, then eat half a teaspoon of black pepper mixed with desi ghee. I will get rest.
